Battery Test Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower is seeking a Battery Test Engineer in the Troy, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and growing organization. Working hours are M-F 8am-5pm; salary will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include: -Developing, validating and implementing testing procedures on various electromechanical test equipment -Designing and fabricating fixtures for testing of cells -Generating documentation to support all phases of product development -Performing failure analysis -Training new technicians and engineers -Developing test protocols and methods to support new device applications -Additional responsibilities as assigned Requirements: -BS or MS in Electrical Engineering -3+ years of experience with ultra-capacitors or advanced battery technologies -Experience with building test labs and establishing databases -Knowledge of all areas of electrical engineering including analog circuit design, digital electronics, cabling and connectors -Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills -Experience with PSpice, Matlab/Simulink, Ansoft, Mathcad or similar software preferred This is a fantastic opportunity that should not be missed!
