General Labor

ManpowerGroup is currently seeking a General Laborer to help support our client's team. This is a temporary assignment that will last approximately one year. Description: *Responsible for cleaning sterile and non-sterile areas in accordance with written or oral instructions. *Responsible for operating auto scrubber, floor bluffing machines and carpet extractors along with mixing chemicals and operating fogging equipment. ***** The essential duties include but are not limited to: *Operates all equipment in the department for the purpose of cleaning and sanitizing and fogging sterile and non-sterile areas. *Performs all functions in accordance with cGMP's and corporate guidelines. *Observes all Standard Operating Procedures and follows all safety and health regulations. *Documents sanitation schedules upon completion of daily work performed. *Prepares solutions such as acids, solvents, disinfectants, etc., used to perform cleaning sterile and non-sterile areas. *Documents 97.6 cleaning tickets or LUMAC Logbooks and posts on rooms that were sanitized as required. Assists in the training of new colleagues on the job. *Maintains supplies and work areas in a clean and orderly fashion. *Receives supplies in area and moves to designated storage area. *Checks equipment and work area to notify supervisor if repairs are needed. *Collects sterile and non-sterile garb. Separates, counts and moves to designated area. *Stocks sterile and lint-free garb areas. *Maintains respirators which include: cleaning after use and their proper storage. Participates in training programs and observes all required procedures, practices and methods. Flushes, cleans and documents safety showers and eye washes. Reports any malfunction to supervisor. Disposes of trash and waste properly. Cleans and properly stores cleaning equipment. *Other duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned at the manager's discretion. ****** High school diploma or GED from recognized institution or organization. *Pharmaceutical Experience or some College desired. ****** This department requires the Wall Washer to bend, reach, lift and stand for extended periods of time. *The Wall Washer must be available for extended hours and six to seven day operations, if required.
