Banquet Server Job Description

Do you enjoy working with people? Are you looking for a fast-paced, part time job that offers flexibility? Labor Ready is looking for part time, hourly employees working on Sunday-Saturday to work banquet events throughout Middle, GA.

We are looking for Food Service Workers including, but not limited to: prepare, portion, and serve food items and beverages, responsible for standard food service work including sanitation duties, and various serving responsibilities.

• Under direct supervision position performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation and serving of foods
• May be required to perform any of the following food/beverage preparatory work: cooking, washing, peeling, scraping, and cutting vegetables and fruits; preparing simple salads; slicing cakes and pies; and making coffee, tea, etc.
• May be required to dish out portions of food on trays or plates, and pours beverages
• May be required to dish out portions of food on trays or plates, and pour beverages
• May be required to perform any of the following: cleaning work, scraping, washing, and sorting dishes, glassware, and silverware; cleaning kitchen equipment; pots and pans; counters and tables; or sweeping and mopping the floor
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Food Service experience
• Reliable transportation required
• Black dress pants, bowtie, vest, non-slip shoes, and White Tuxedo shirt

• Relevant experience preferred
• Food handler permit required
• Committed to safety at all times
• Excellent attendance

Pay Rate: $8.50-$10.00 per hours

Shift/Hours: Sunday-Saturday with Varied Shifts and Hours
