Successful candidates have a minimum one year prior customer service experience preferably in a restaurant or entertainment venue. Our team is fully committed to engaging our guests with our awesome Buckeye spirit and always providing an exceptional guest experience for fans and friends alike. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Greet guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Seat guests in proper sections based on operations protocol.
  • Ensure a balanced workload among servers.
  • Assigns and informs servers of their stations.
  • Assist in clearing, cleaning, and setting tables.
  • Position requires standing for entire of the shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

The Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill is located in the beautiful Grandview Yard and is on the COTA bus line. The pay rate is $6.00 per hour plus tips. In addition to an hourly wage, we offer dining and travel discounts, special offers from our business partners, and discount programs for selected cell phone providers. Additional benefits are available for full time associates, including medical, dental, and paid vacations.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is required. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Engaging presence, positive attitude and energetic personality.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to stressful situations and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred.
