The Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Telesales Center Coordinator for our Sales & Marketing Department in Van Nuys, CA. Please find below a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary:

Position performs administrative duties and support to the Inbound Telesales Center.
Essential Job Functions:


Provides administrative support including, processing incoming and outgoing departmental mail and correspondence, maintaining office supplies, securing travel arrangements, coordinating and participating in company and departmental events and offsite meetings, maintaining appointment calendars, and ensuring that all office equipment is functioning properly

Answers telephone, provides information to callers or routes call to appropriate personnel

Initiates Purchase Orders and processes invoices

Creates and maintains DL ' s, Coordinates duplication of correspondence and/or other printed materials

Prepares Power Point Presentations

Works on special projects as assigned

Job Requirements:


Must possess strong computer skills including a working knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentation software

Windows based software skills including advanced skills in Excel and Word; PowerPoint and Access preferred

Must type 60 wpm and possess the ability to learn specific software programs as needed

Must possess strong verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to proofread and to respond to customer inquiries through effective communication

Valid Driver ' s License with safe driving record

Ability to interpret company policies and procedures, and to implement accordingly

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to follow instructions and solve problems within established policies and make decisions with minimum supervision


Preferred Qualifications:


Ability to handle several detailed projects with multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously in a fast paced changing environment with a high degree of accuracy

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines

Ability to express oneself in a clear, concise and organized manner both verbally and in writing

Ability to think through a problem, analyze and break it down into parts to resolve or come up with a logical solution

Ability to exercise good judgment, keeping in mind company policies and procedures as guidelines, in issuing credits, scheduling installation/service calls and satisfying the customer

Due to the confidential nature of the activity involved with this position, the individual will be expected to perform these duties with a high degree of professionalism and responsibility

Education and Experience:


Associates Degree in Administrative Assistant or related field required

Two to four years as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent experience preferred
