Reporting to the Global Creative Director, The Senior Copywriter provides in-depth knowledge and comprehensive writing skills to our internal creative team. The ideal candidate must be an excellent writer, editor and proofreader with B2B and corporate communications experience. You'll be charged with writing or managing B2B marketing copy, authoring and editing corporate presentations, collateral, digital marketing, social media and event messaging - managing our "voice", tone and copy style guidelines, and above all, ensuring that we are always consistent, accurate, and undeniably Pitney Bowes across all of our communications.

This is a new role within the Pitney Bowes internal creative team. The senior copywriter must possess expertise in writing across all promotional tactics and is able to tackle day-to-day copy needs with minimal supervision. He/she must be able to think creatively and strategically and adapt his/her style to different audiences and verticals. This position is located in Stamford, CT.

The Job

Develop themes and write copy for B2B marketing collateral, digital, presentations, events and experiences

Work with Creative Director and Senior Design team to review creative strategies, develop concepts, and provide creative lead on proposed projects

Create compelling headlines and persuasive long-form copy across all channels including: Brochures, White Papers, Advertising, Direct Mail, Web Copy, etc.

Possess excellent conceptual and brainstorming skills and be able to translate ideas into successful marketing campaigns.

Influence and or edit copy developed by internal marketing teams to ensure that it reflects the brand and our style guidelines.
Qualification


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or Advertising

7+ years' B2B copywriting experience

Have strong conceptual abilities as well as excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong strategic thinking skills

Ability to manage, edit and critique the work of others
