About this job

Responsibilities:
1. Identifies, pulls, and kits work orders accurately and efficiently to support manufacturing schedules.
2. Responsible for inventory accuracy in assigned locations. Responsible for performing weekly cycle count process.
3. Responsible for reconciling inventory discrepancies at the time the inaccuracy is identified.
4. Perform physical inventory as required in accordance with the company
policy.
5. Identify inventory issues, and determine root cause so that an accurate assessment/adjustment may be made.
6. Stock new product in the locations, insures bin cards are updated and that product
reels and or other packaging mediums are correctly labeled.
7. Ensures FIFO and related procedures are enforced.
8. Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards for the assigned area.
9. Perform other duties or assignments as requested by supervision or management.

Shipping: (30%)
* Pull inventory corresponding with orders and perform appropriate transactions;
* Create shipping reports, such as Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Bill of Lading and other shipping/transportation related documentation;
* Perform quality and accuracy verification of all boxes, pallets, labels and documents on out bound shipments;
* Perform customer specific packaging, palletizing and labeling as required by pick reports;
* Perform weekly cycle counts and review root cause of variances;

Receiving: (40%)
* Unload trucks of incoming raw materials;
* Perform receiving transactions for all inventory and non-inventory products;
* Work with Procurement in a timely fashion to resolve any purchase order issues that inhibit receiving transactions to occur;
* Appropriately label and deliver incoming materials to appropriate warehouse or departmental location;
* Communicate with Inventory Analyst on all Returned Materials (RMA) that require disposition; Effectively control flow and accuracy of materials to and from NON-NET inventory locations;

Material Handling: (25%)
* Provide Manufacturing with necessary raw materials and supplies as to not impact production;
* Remove finished goods from temporary location to final storage location
* Track and perform necessary transactions that reflect product changing from one location to another;

Other: (5%)
* Look for Continuous Improvement opportunities in all areas of logistics and warehouse management;
* Supports Manager, Logistics in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in areas of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Delivery
* Handles hazardous material, works safely and ensures the safety of co-workers, while striving for zero safety incidents;
* Other duties as assigned by Manager, Logistics.
