About this job
Will handle laboratory animals; primarily rats, mice, ginea pigs and prepare them for laboratory testing. In addition they will prepare and test samples (blood, tissue, etc) based on the experiments required. This is in the Quality area so they will be fairly routine animal studies to make sure thier products are effective.
1. Operate basic laboratory equipment: centrifuge, microscope, pipette, biosafety cabinet
2. Prepare reagents, media and laboratory equipment
3. Perform animal restraint, injections and blood collection
4. Accurately complete testing documentation and data entry
5. Participate in document review and revision
