Key responsibilities include:
* Assists the Resident Care Director (RCD) in management and operation of the Wellness Department
* Maintaining standards in resident care services
* Supervision and oversight of Wellness Department staff
* Training and assigning overall duties in accordance with the residents’ needs
* Meeting financial and budgetary guidelines
* Upholding state regulations and company policies and procedures
* Position may be asked to assume the role of the RCD in the absence of a RCD at the community

We seek the following qualifications:
* Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing for the state of Maryland
* Three (3) years of nursing experience
* Working knowledge of computers including Excel, Word, and MS Office is required
* Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
* Must meet all health requirements (pass TB test), possess a vaild driver's license with a clean driving record, and able to pass criminal background check and nursing licensure validation as required by state law
* Able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
* Flexibility with schedule and able to be on-call as needed
* Compassion for and desire to work with the senior population
