We have openings for Assembly in the Bloomington, MN area for a manufacturing company! This is an excellent temporary-to-hire opportunity with a great company!

 

Job Description:

Growing company in Bloomington, MN is looking for Assemblers. The candidate will be assembling plastic parts and attaching handles to fire extinguishers. Production moves fairly quickly, and they will need to be familiar with basic hand tools, air guns, and pneumatic tools. There is no machine operation involved.

• The candidate will be responsible to review daily assembly functions to ensure awareness of requirements
• Troubleshoot problems, report immediately to the Supervisor/Lead/Manager for any and all problems which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and quality
• Obtain necessary materials and tools from storage area and transport to workstation
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times

 

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous Production or Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Must have excellent attendance
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be a self motivated individual
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand throughout Shift
• Looking for high energy candidates that are eager to perform the job
• Must be able to read and interpret sales and job orders
• Must have basic mechanical skills
• Utilize the appropriate safety attire at all times; Steel Toed boots required; Client will provide any additional hearing or eye protection
• Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening required

Pay Rate:  $10.50-$11.50 per hour; Excellent benefits, weekly pay, paid time off, direct deposit

Shift/Hours:  1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-3:30 PM
