Description
Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Urological Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Critical Care division, located in Mundelein, IL. This position will provide superior support to both our internal and external customers. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with clinical experience and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.
The challenging responsibilities of the position include:
- Assist sales force with Urological product conversions and implementations
- Develop account specific educational webinars for national and regional accounts
- Provide on-site education and clinical support on Urological programs and services
- Identify problem areas and recommends changes and solutions
- Evaluate policies and procedures related to patient care in specialty area
- Review new product concepts and participate in product design changes
- Provide feedback to Division on product and clinical trends
- May visit patients and discusses specific problems with assigned nurses and physicians
- Participate with development, revision, and implementation of patient education programs, materials, and resources in specialty area
- Recommend formal educational programs to meet staff needs
- Provide, coordinate, and teach workshops and classes in Urological products
- Study changes in specialty area and seeks additional knowledge on unusual problems and conditions, new treatments, and medications
- Demonstrate quality nursing care, problem solving skills, effective use of resources, collaboration with other health professionals, and professional standards
- Represent the Critical Care Division by making presentations and participating in forums, committees, and professional associations
- Contribute to the Division's culture and environment by providing positive teamwork and collaboration
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with Develop customer retention service proposal through consultation and relationship building with key national accounts

The required skills for this position are:
- Ability to travel 90-100% nationwide
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum three years direct bedside nursing experience required (BSN or highly preferred)
- Urological experience preferred
- Intermediate “hands-on” experience with incontinence products a plus, Long term or acute care experience highly preferred
- Some clinical administration experience a plus
