Our client (located near Mineola, NY) is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist with multistate experience (California, Florida, Texas, New York & New Jersey). Payroll experience is a huge plus. This position will provide support to the HR Managers. This is an immediate, direct hire position.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide HR generalist support to the HR Managers
Provide administrative support for and coordination of our client’s HR processes, including performance management, succession planning, benefits enrollment, exit interviews, and leadership development
Respond timely to employee issues and questions related to compensation, benefits, and HR policies and programs
Complete I-9s and new hire paperwork for all new hires and maintain all employee files
Provide monthly and quarterly reporting
Lead ad-hoc HR projects
Other duties as needed
Key qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
Must have experience with HIPA laws
At least 2-4 years of Human Resources work experience
Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task daily HR responsibilities with project
Demonstrated strength in organization skills and coordination across multiple client groups
Superior oral and written communication and analytical skills
Ability to manage expectations of business and HR stakeholders on priorities and timelines
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Power Point and Excel
Salary: $60,000 +
