Business Service Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

This role is located in the Manpower office working with the Government Solutions team who is contracted by the City & County of San Francisco. This is a direct hire position. Interviews will take place next week as we're hoping to make a decision by the end of the week. Job Description: The Business Service Specialist is a public workforce grant funded position responsible for the coordination of connecting employers in a city, county or region with the services in the One-Stop System. They are responsible for business outreach, marketing of services, connecting employers with candidates and placing candidates in jobs. The Business Services Specialist is an individual contributor on a team that is expected to meet/exceed performance objectives under the contract and ensure compliance with client, state and federal policies and procedures. Required Skills: 1. Outreach and market to businesses the services available in the One-Stop System 2. Assess employer needs for job openings and convey that to candidates in the One-Stop system. 3. Connect One-Stop candidates with jobs. 4. Network and develop relationships with community leaders and service organizations which will be beneficial to Manpower Government Solutions in the delivery of services to the targeted population. Education/Experience: * Experience with public workforce program delivery * Sales experience in the delivery of service such as staffing * Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) * Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously * Ability to work with or without supervision * Ability to market products, cold call with prospect clients * Ability to facilitate training sessions * Demonstrated ability to problem solve * Perform additional tasks as required * Ability to work as part of a team * Ability to work with a diverse population on a daily basis Shift/Scheduled Hours: 8 - 5 Are Expenses Allowed?
