Tool & Die Maker

Our client is looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to work at their Tier 1 automotive facility producing parts for multiple automotive companies (Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, etc). The work is based in a high volume production environment.

Work on and maintain: draw dies, progressive dies, pipe dies, transfer feed dies. Sharpening perforators, bushings and cutting edges. TIG Weld, machining, engineering and fabrications were all involved

- Candidate must have 2+ years experience as a Tool & Die Repairman working with metals.
- Candidates must also have experience with surface grinding experience and the ability to work with close tolerances.
- Candidates must have a general welding knowledge
- Need to be able to work with Blueprints
- Need experience with close measurement devices (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Our client looks for punctuality, attendance and good work ethic outside of the technical abilities.
- Candidates must demonstrate a strong willingness to work.
