Civil Construction Inspector/Engineer

A growing, mid-sized engineering consulting firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Civil Construction Inspector in Southern Indiana.

This individual will be serving as a Construction Inspection Supervisor of a large road/bridge project in the Jeffersonville, Indiana area (Ohio River Bridges Project). This particular project is 3-5 years in duration and is a direct hire with our client.

Major job duties include:
* Inspection of road and bridge construction processes to ensure specifications are met according to Federal and State regulations
* Oversight of construction inspectors and QA/QC processes
* Reporting and communicating construction inspection progress with project owner and executive management team
* Perform other related duties as required

Job requirements and qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience working in an inspection/field engineering role on INDOT bridge and road construction projects.
* Civil Engineering degree is and/or completion of INDOT Certified Technician program is required
* Direct experience working on INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) projects

The hours are standard construction hours and overtime may be required.
