About this job
Responsibilities:
- Design/draft machine parts using SolidWorks. Will be designing from a print/model/sketch provided to them by the lead engineer
- Create 3D models and alter existing models
- Will be designing parts made out of steel
- Use GD&T to ensure proper sizes
- Create and maintain BOM
- Upload and manage information in PDM (they use Adept)
- Will be working in a group of engineers. Each Lead Engineer may task designer with a different project or need for design changes. Will need to be flexible to move from project to project and be able to prioritize the work load.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree
- 2 years experience using SolidWorks
- 2 years experience with GD&T
- Experience designs metal parts
- 1 year experience creating/maintaining BOMs
- 1 year experience with weldments
