Description

Vending Delivery Technician
The Vending Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering and servicing cooler/vending equipment to customers, assuring the safe operation and care of assigned Dr Pepper Snapple Group equipment.

Pay and Schedule Information:
  • Full time, first shift opening
  • 7am start time
  • Hourly pay rate

Position Responsibilities
  1. Assist Cold Drink Managers in planning the daily activities of the Division’s Service Technicians – Service Calls and Equipment Move Orders (EMO).
  2. Manage the inventory of cold drink equipment: interact the Region Vending Manager to ensure that appropriate levels of inventory are available to meet the placement requirements of the market, coordinate external and internal refurbishment work as required, execute inter-company equipment transfers as needed, identify and coordinate equipment retirement as needed
  3. Assist the Region Cold Drink Equipment Asset Clerk in ensuring the accuracy of the Equipment Database
  4. Evaluate and analyze the current Service productivity levels (departmental and individual) versus the needs of the market. Identify, communicate, and offer solutions to Cold Drink Management when gaps exist
  5. Ensure that Departmental paperwork and reports are being completed timely and accurately.
  6. Maintain and manage the parts equipment inventory and order new parts as needed.
  7. Deliver equipment / perform service calls as needed. (MUST HAVE CLASS B CDL).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 21 years of age or older
  • 1 year delivery and face to face customer interaction experience
  • 1 year experience with equipment troublshooting and repair
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Office
  • Refrigeration certification
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Valid CDL-B and driver’s license
