In this position you will use your scientific knowledge, the scientific method of problem solving, and evidence based decision making to understand and treat patients with diseases of the endocrine glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands.  You will also treat patients with disorders such as diabetes, metabolic and nutritional disorders, pituitary diseases and menstrual and sexual problems.  You will inject medications as needed as part of the treatment plan.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Active and unrestricted Medical License in State of California

  • Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine

  • Active and unrestricted DEA

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence

  • Effective reasoning, planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • 3+ years internal medicine residency at ACGME accredited program

  • 2+ years endocrinology fellowship training at ACGME accredited program

  • Injection skills for medication administration, specialty based skills for endocrinology
