Key Responsibilities include:
*Participating in the orientation of new associates, including facilitating new-hire paperwork, an overview of the employee handbook, policies and procedures, and community orientation
* Interfacing with all levels of the community to provide human resource employee relations support
* Collaborating with HR leadership to meet department goals and support HR initiatives
* Overseeing personnel files and binders related to employment matter for the required length of time in accordance with Brookdale standards
* Managing payroll processing for the community with Brookdale payroll sources
* Administering benefit plan offerings and enrollment for the community associates

Minimum Job Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED
* Two years of human resource coordinator experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
* Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment labor laws
* Experience in benfits administration and processing payroll
* Compentent in organizational, time management, problem solving and decision making skills
* Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
* Must enjoy working with the senior poopulation
