About the Job

As a Manager you are expected to learn the benchmark selling techniques and management responsibilities. You must learn both the sales associate's job responsibilities as well as the store manager's coaching and operational responsibilities. Being an associate means that in addition to greeting customers promptly and appropriately, you should work to establish a rapport that allows you to go beyond the customer's initial request and determine their needs. You should facilitate the consistent performance of the appropriate benchmark selling behaviors and team selling; create a positive, high quality work environment; and insure that the store inventory is controlled, the shop is well managed, and all other operations in the store run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years previous management experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Is committed to working shifts as scheduled and has flexibility to work additional and/or different hours based on changing needs of the business – including additional training and store meetings
• Enjoys talking to and helping customers
• Understands the value of teamwork.
• Exudes a positive attitude and sustains a contagious energy throughout entire shift
• Possesses basic math skills
• Has knowledge of basic computer skills
• Is actively and consistently involved in the visual maintenance of the store
• Possesses strong selling skills, including anticipating the needs of customers and implementing the appropriate action or solution
