CNC Machine Operator - Full-time

We are currently hiring entry level and experienced CNC Machine Operators in the Savanna, IL area for a major automotive parts manufacturer!

Your pay for the CNC Machine Operator will be:

• Pay is $12.39 plus shift differential
• Various shifts are available

As a CNC Machine Operator you will be:

• Operating three or more CNC machines with minimum assistance to produce required number of quality work pieces, while utilizing appropriate measuring instruments and gauges.
• Completing offsets and major tool changes as required without supervision.
• Performing normal machine malfunction repairs
• Working regular production as well as development work
• Assisting Maintenance Department in basic repairs
• Replacing and setting cylinders and switches

In this CNC Machine Operator role you should have:

• Ability to lift 30lbs throughout shift and stand entire time
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (overtime and weekends)

To perform the CNC Machine Operator successfully, the following is required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to run all CNC machines with little or no assistance
• Ability to operate three or more CNC machines
• Strong organizational skills and ability to accurately complete all inspections, SPC sheets, production tickers, attaining expected production at acceptable level of scraps
• Competence in all gauging instruments and data collection systems
• Ability to read blueprints and part programs
