Description

Medline Industries, Inc., the nation’s largest privately held company of healthcare products, is hiring solid performers for our brand new, state-of-the-art E&A Department in Alamo, TN. We have immediate openings for Embroidery Machine Operators. We are seeking dynamic, hard-working individuals with a solid work background in high speed manufacturing and a desire to work for a fast paced, large corporation. In addition to these qualities you must have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.

The responsibilities of the position include:

· Set up, operate and troubleshoot Industrial Sized Embroidery Machines to manufacture embroidered goods at the highest quality and efficiency standards
· Prepare machine for garments, which includes loading digitized designs into machine network, manual thread color changes and needle changes when appropriate
· Prepare garments for machine, which includes hooping mechanisms and backing placement to ensure highest possible quality and output
· Examine completed work to detect product defects and verify conformance and adjust machinery as necessary to correct quality or efficiency issues
· Respond to machinery breakdowns or garment upsets and restore machinery as quickly as possible to minimize production downtime
· Routine machine Maintenance including Daily Oiling and Lint Control using compressed air system and shop vacuum
· Position requires the ability and willingness to work on production floor at all work stations “as needed” including: Receiving Goods (Components, Finished Goods or Raw Materials), Housekeeping, Stocking Goods, Picking Goods, Packing Kits, Processing Sales Rep Sample Orders, Return Goods, Packing, Shipping (Finished Goods, Raw Materials or Stock Transfers), Alterations, Kaumagraphy, etc.

The required skills for this position are:

· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· Must have basic computer skills
· Needle threading capability, sewing or alterations experience is a plus
