Assembly Technician

Aerotek Staffing has multiple openings for the Assembly Technician role at a leading manufacturer in Newark, DE area. This is a full-time opportunity in first shift with availability for overtime. Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in Construction, Manufacturing or a Mechanical role.

Position Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible of the assembly of various electrical and mechanical components
• Must be able to follow all safety protocols to assemble components.
• Will work with other technicians to trouble-shoot components and rework materials in order to meet requirements
• Will be responsible for recording data and entering failure reports to improve quality of the product
• Must be able to follow procedures and instructions exactly as written to produce a quality product

Job Qualifications:

• Must have previous hands-on experience in a Construction, Manufacturing, Automotive, or Mechanical role.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings, and some schematics
• Must be able to use hand and power tools
• Must be familiar with mechanical components such as blowers, pumps, fans, valves, flow meters, and pressure regulators
• Must demonstrate safe working conditions

Wiring and electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
