Trailer Mechanic Summary: Repair and inspect trailers in a safe, timely, cost effective and practical manner.
Trailer Mechanic Shift: Must be available to work any shift
Trailer Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Routine and preventative maintenance
- Federal inspections
- Diagnostics
- Repair of brakes, lights, roofing, flooring
- Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of the components parts and systems
- Inspect equipment used
- When applicable use welding skills
Qualified Candidates For The Position Will Have Met The Following:
- Required:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED & 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair
- Must furnish own tools
- Valid Driver's license
- Must be DOT Certified
