Manpower is looking for an experienced HR support Coordinator The job is located in Norwood, MA Monday - Friday 8-5pm PAYING $25 AN HOUR This assignment is for 5 months Here is an overview of the job description Coordinator works directly with project managers and clients to implement our popular and highly successful suite of software to automate clients' human resources programs. To fulfill this role, the coordinator will be able * Manage entire leave process for all employees from the commencement of the leave through to the return to work or termination (whichever applies). * Leaves include FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), Medical, Personal and Military. * Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to ensure that STD (Short Term Disability), LTD (Long Term Disability) and WC (Worker's Comp) benefits are approved in order for employees to be paid during the leave of absence. * Coordinate with internal payroll department to ensure that employees are paid appropriately based on the recommendation of the vendor. * Troubleshoot payroll issues and communicate with payroll on the employee's behalf to resolve pay issues. * Educate employees and managers on the appropriate leave processes and procedures. * Educate employees and managers on how to utilize the technology available to them. Utilizing the technology will assist the employee and manager in managing the leave of absence. * Provide the necessary communication and plan materials to employees and managers throughout the leave (leave notification letters, approval letters, information packets etc.) * Coordinate with applicable parties (vendors, internal payroll, benefits, employee relations, Corporate HR) to effectively manage the leave process. * Update HRMS (People Soft). Changing employment status from active to leave or vice versa. This information must be entered accurately and timely to ensure employees are paid correctly every pay period. * Coordinate and interpret leave policies with applicable federal and state regulations. * Keep employees and managers informed of the leave status throughout the leave. * Ensure FMLA compliance. * Track FMLA usage to ensure that employees do not exceed the amount of allotted FMLA time. * Assist managers with complex leave issues involving abuse of FMLA and other leave types. * Provide leave statistical and trends reporting. * Provide special case handling for newly acquired companies. * Ensure that all case details are documented accurately, timely and in detail. * Attend ongoing training as needed to remain current on leave laws. * BA/BS degree preferred * Experience in specific domains of HR administration (Healthcare & Group Benefits., LOA administration) * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word * Strong oral and written communication skills * Experience with prior software implementation and training * Good analytical skills * Ability to work within a team environment * Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to deadlines * Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
