Dress Code: black pants, black shoes, black belt, black shirt Position could turn permanent MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK Schedule: Worker 1- mon-fri 2-10 Worker 2- tue-sat 8-4 Worker 3- tue-sat 2-10 Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this person will be general merchandising stockers and basic customer service. Role Qualifications: * Ability to speak and communicate well with people * Experience in retail and merchandising in a big box environment a huge plus * Demonstrate Staples values; Own it, Say it like it is, Be Caring, Keep it Simple, and Work Together every shift Position Responsibilities: * Replenish the merchandise on the sales floor * Provide basic customer service; Greeting and assisting customers on the sales floor * Assist with breaking down and putting away freight deliveries * Bagging or assisting with customer carry out * Will NOT be trained to operate a register * Assist other team members with assigned tasks * Maintain a positive working relationship with all store employees and customers * Adheres to all company policies procedures & safety standards Preferred Skills required: * Good communication and customer service skills * The ability to work alone or as a member of a team * Must be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time * Must be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks * Must be able to lift 50 pounds of weight as needed throughout assigned workday * Must be able to work in precarious or high locations and also be able to climb and descend ladders * Able to engage and speak to customers and offer assistance or connect them with the appropriate team member
