This key role prepares our newly
hired nurses, customer service reps and their managers to provide high quality consumer servics using
multiple software platforms for multiple products. In addition this role provides
ongoing and advance skill training for current employees. This person must
demonstrate the ability to learn new material rapidly and the ability to train
technical materials in a variety of classroom settings to learners with a
variety of backgrounds and skill levels in the same room.



                                                                       



Primary Responsibilities:




  • Lead
    operations training for consumer facing new-hires and their managers for a
    three or more  software platforms,
    multiple OptumHealth products and a variety specific customer accounts.

  • Emphasize
    a culture of quality and awareness of ROI 
    into training sessions.

  • Assess
    learning success and work with manager to determine follow-up.

  • Strategize
    with site leadership team to determine training topics and best methods
    for implementation.

  • Implement
    new training based on national business goals.

  • Identify
    training needs and make recommendations to site leaders and training
    management.

  • Independently
    and quickly learn new software and product curriculum and deliver it
    skillfully.

  • Travel
    to other OptumHealth sites to support their training.



Requirements





 



  • 2+ years of experience independently leading
    classroom training that spans multiple weeks at a time (home on week-ends
    if you want to or company covers hotel cost). 

  • Basic knowledge of Clinical / Healthcare or
    corporate setting (corporate software training experience)

  • Experience in systems training  - facilitate trainings.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
    skills.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner in a
    fast-paced rapidly changing environment.

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 + years'
    experience in corporate training. 



Preferred Qualifications:



 



  • Experience in Call Center training.

  • College degree.

  • Healthcare experience.

  • Demonstrated use of adult learning principles
    e.g. ADDIE and Kirkpatrick (design / measuring tool).

  • Experience in project management and/or
    instructional design.





Physical Requirements:

  • Travel up to 50% of assignment.

  • Lift 25 pounds.

  • Daily classroom delivery requires standing and moving around the room.
