This
position's main function is to maintain General Ledger accounts and
related activities for the production of Financial statements and
reports. Mainly performs Account reconciliations and a wide variety of
functions dealing with regulated and non-regulated businesses. You must
have an understanding through work or education of generally accepted
Accounting principles.

This role will also involve becoming our
On-boarding Specialist (Business Segment Liaison) for the on-boarding of
new employees, ordering of supplies, access into secure systems, as well as troubleshooting system issues for staff.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player, positive attitude and self-driven.
  • Prior experience successfully managing multiple requests, assessing priorities and achieving solutions under deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.
  • Analytical and Information Gathering skills; ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+
    years of General Ledger Reconciliation experience.
  • 1+ year experience using Microsoft Excel and Word (Excel: daily use to reconcile, filter, sort, create tables and basic formulas.  Word: create correspondence, work within templates).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Accounting Reconciliation Software experience is helpful.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (Utilization of pivot tables and formulas).
  • PeopleSoft Financial experience is preferred.
  • Great Plains experience is a plus.
  • Experience on-boarding new employees.
  • Experience with unclaimed property.
