Automotive Technician

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Technical Service Rep position for one of our clients in Belvidere, IL! Job Responsibilities: *FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE - Ensure Automotive Coatings customer satisfaction by providing technical service in customer plant on a wide range of products and application techniques. *PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - oEstablish strong customer relationships with customer paint shop employees and managers. oProvide timely resolution to customers concerns, and quick troubleshooting of coatings problems. oData collection with hand held instruments oReview vehicle quality, aid customer in resolving issues oReview process conformance oInventory tracking and forecasting when required providing the customer with an adequate supply of paint oCommunication of issues Contract Length: *6 months Hours: Working hours are Wednesday through Saturday, start at 6:00 pm stop at 4:30 am. Overtime is frequent. Additional Requirements: *Required: oHigh school degree and related work experience. *Desired: oCollege degree in chemistry, general science, or a related discipline. o0-12 years in a technical setting or automotive assembly plant environment. oGood written and oral communication skills. oWaterborne, Solventbornet, Powder, and Electrocoat technology experience preferred. oStrong computer skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail are required.
