Sunrise Senior Living is currently seeking a Director of Sales at our Sunrise of Schaumburg Assisted Living community in Schaumburg, Illinois. We are looking for a high energy and enthusiastic individual who will thrive in our unique setting focused on championing the quality of life for seniors. The Director of Sales must have strong closing skills to manage Sales and Marketing efforts for Sunrise of Schaumburg. You must have excellent relationship-building skills, a strong understanding of the sales cycle, and have mastered the art of closing. Using strategic direct marketing, community outreach, and customized sales tactics, your ultimate goal is to bring Sunrise of Schaumburg to 100% occupancy. The Director of Sales works closely with the Community and Regional team to achieve community specific sales goals and objectives through: 1) Lead generation and lead conversion activities such as, developing relationships with qualified referral sources. 2) Hosting community outreach and networking events to promote goodwill in the community to increase awareness and lead development. 3) Presenting the community on tours with potential residents and their families. 4) Converting leads into move-in through sales closing efforts and being a part of the new resident admissions process. 5) Retaining and enhancing Sunrise culture and values in all interactions. QUALIFICATIONS * College degree preferred * Previous experience with health care admissions, or in an independent/assisted living setting, is highly desired. * Business analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data including leveraging technology * Your proven track record in closing sales * Superlative communication and interpersonal skills, as well as your passion for seniors, is required for success in this role. * Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours. * Able to travel in the geographic area COMPETENCIES: * Sales Ability * Building Trust * Drive for Results * Building Customer Loyalty * Building Partnerships * Planning and Organizing * Business Acumen * Customer Focus *L1-EG1
