Primary responsibilities include reviewing all new
report/application request submissions and preparing for Development. 
Working with requester to solidify requirements as well and documenting fields,
data sources, selection criteria/calculations and output needs.  Positions
in this function include those responsible for designing/developing,
programming, maintaining and publishing operational reports. Provides
operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations
based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as
needed. May be done for internal operational purposes as well as for customers.



  • Analyzes
    and investigates.
  • Provides
    explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4+ Years equivalent experience.
  • 3+ Years experience working directly with Customers
  • 3+ Years experience creating or reviewing application/report development
  • 1+ Years experience identifying, documenting, and executing on process improvements and issue resolution
  • Basic SQL experience
  • Experience with the development life cycle
  • Basic claims experience
  • Knowledge or experience with medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with the Insurance Industry
  • Basic understanding of Quality Assurance Scoring and Stratification concepts
