Assistant Plant Manager

This person will be assisting the Plant Manager with all of his duties.

Responsibilities/Experience Qualifications include:
-Purchasing (Po's and price comparisions)
-Scheduling
-ordering parts and supplies and monitoring shipments
-contacting vendors
-setting up new vendors
-running safety program (they meet every morning to have a safety talk at 630AM.)
-dealing with customers
-Managing employees out in the precast facility.
-Annual year end counts including entry of itms, quantity counts, and reconciling variance.
-data entry of daily production into database system and generating production reports for review and production.
-implement and conduct new safety training and new safe procedures, new process reviews.
Someone with construction background or road construction.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in manufacturing industry

Preferred construction industry background (Project Engineer)
