Job Summary
Under coaching and directions from DC management, this position will be responsible for majority DC operations in a distribution/packaging/manufacturing environment
Essential Functions
Major Responsibilities will include but not limited to
*work under the directions from the Director of Distribution, Senior Warehouse Operations Manager and DC Ops Supervisor to assist in most DC operations from receiving to shipping excluding Returns
*Work on daily assignments based on actual assignments on business needs in areas such as pick and pack, production, receiving, replenishment, shipping and loading of several business units
*Calculate and plan for manpower requisition against budget
*Coordinate with DC Internal Departments, planning and customer services to achieve performance standards
*Coordinate with staffing agencies in manpower requisition; arrange, train both regular and temporary workers
*Measure productivity and monitor the daily team performance to ensure on time completion; prepare report
*Analyse and resolve operations problems
*Enforce safe practice and good housekeeping based on the company guidelines
Required Qualifications
*Possess Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering preferred
*Has related work experience in Distribution Center or warehouse environment
*Good computer skill in Microsoft office: Excel/Word
* Able to communicate effectively and efficiently in both written and verbal inter- and intra-departmental communication in English
*Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
*Constant walking, standing in warehouse environment as well as office desk activities
*Able to work overtime when needed
*ERP Experience
