Storage/Distribution Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower is currently hiring a Storage/Distribution Manager for one of our clients in Round Lake, IL!

JOB DETAILS:

The Storage/Distribution Manager position requires the determination of defective product, overseeing equipment operations, completing documentation and setup and take down of the finishing room operation. Requires regular performance of pack out procedures in the +5 pack out cooler and movement of palletized units to the finished goods freezer warehouse after pack out is completed. Requires operation of POMS computer, calipers, templates, seal integrity test stations, calibrated scales, black and white stations, labeling equipment, carton stenciling, and tape sealers. DAP finishing equipment, pallet loading and hand trucks or forklift.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school Diploma/GED.
• Ability to use charts, gauges and instrumentation required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using hand held measuring devices such as calipers, templates, pin gauges, micrometers.
• Basic math skills required.
• Physical abilities needed which include: standing, walking, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and bending.
  
• Must have thorough knowledge of defect identification and Good Manufacturing Procedures, Good Documentation training.
• Ability to use basic tools and be willing to take on additional training and responsibility.
• Must have ability to read and comprehend English.
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
• Must not be allergic to Cephalosporin or Penicillin.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must not be allergic to Cephalosporins or Penicillin (including Ampicillin, Amoxicillin, Dicloxacillin, Oxacillin, Piperacillin, and tazobactam combined (Zosyn).
• Visual acuity of 20/30 Near Vision with or without corrective vision required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Push/pull up to 30 pounds to move loaded, wheeled carts with assistance from Material Handler I.
• Frequent sitting, walking, standing, bending and squatting.
• Frequent reaching between waist and shoulder level. Occasional reaching up and out.
• Repetitive grasping and movement of hands and fingers.
