Job Description

As a Food Production Worker you will work in either the Cut Room or the Cook Room of a meat processing facility. These positions require good work ethic, a high standard of cleanliness and a willingness to work hard. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the cutting process of chicken, pork and beef
• Similar to an assembly line with two cutting machines to help break down the meat into appropriate sizes
• Assisting with the cooking process of chicken, pork and beef
• Load 35lb buckets of product onto a conveyor belt to be coated with batter
• Sort through product between the two fryers to remove undesirable pieces and extra batter
• The cut room is a cold environment of about 55*
• The Cook room is a hot environment of 80*

Job Requirements

• Able to stand, bend, stoop and walk for long periods of time
• Able to lift 20-40lbs depending upon department
• Ability to read and write in English is preferred
• Requires a high attention to detail, focus on safety and food regulations
• Reliable transportation
• NO jewelry or nail polish allowed on site
• Willing to submit to a drug screen

Ideal Candidates

• Relevant work experience preferred such as prep cooks, dishwashers and other hospitality industries
• Texting capabilities preferred
• Committed to safety at all times
• Excellent attendance

Pay Rate: $8.75 hour to start with an increase to $10 upon permanent hire.

Shift/Hours: AM and PM shifts available 40-45 hours a week
