Position Summary

Performs a variety of security, safety, customer services, public relations duties and related functions specific to the job account. Provide first line response to emergencies and carry out the policies and  procedures of Property Management. Observe and report security issues and safety concerns as prescribed in post manuals.

Essential Duties

Responsible for hiring and training security staff in proper ABM security techniques.
Work with Branch Management to ensure proper safety and security training has been provided for all employees.
Responds to customer issues.
Submits employee timecards records to ensure proper wage payment to employees
Assist in development of replacements for all leadership positions

Job Expectations:
A. Developing and administering security policies and procedures and carrying out security objectives and programs at the security account.
B. Is responsible for recruiting qualified personnel to act as security officers at the security account.
C. Supervises and coordinates security TRAINING and develops training programs specific to the account.
D. Acts as an in-house expert on all issues relating to security functions and knows where to locate available resources for the security function.
E. Understands business issues and concerns as they relate to the total security function.
F. Implements security policies and procedures.
G. Acts as a liaison between the host client, local law enforcement, fire department and EMS.
H. Special projects for facility management.
I. Updating policies and procedures.
J. Participating in assigned company group meetings.
K. Evaluates and reports on performance of subordinate security personnel.
L. Ensures security duties, functions and tasks are satisfactorily carried out and completed in a timely manner

Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must have or be able to obtain Iowa Security Guard License. 
Minimum 2 years of  Security Management, Law Enforcement, or Military experience, a must. 
Must have a valid state issued Driver's License.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must understand, read, and follow written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
