The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Provisioning and Order Management Supervisor for our Information Technology Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary

Responsible for leading a team of 3-4 engineers for resolution of single-user provisioning issues for Digital Phone and HSD, including activation and deactivation of service and associated features. This is a necessary position to ensure provisioning quality for both Commercial/Business Class and Residential customers and allow timely resolution of issues related to initial service provisioning as well as service changes in the life of an account for DP and HSD features.

Essential Job Functions:

This position will serve a leadership role for a group of engineers who work various shifts ensuring coast-to-coast support of provisioning orders, along with oncall and weekend support. This leader will need to build metrics for process and application errors to identify workload drivers, as well as building relationships with other teams to address process issues and identify chronic errors impacting single user orders. Dashboards should allow identification of error trending for correlation to system or process issues.

Work with partners in PAC/Tier 3 to identify tools and documentation to allow self-service. Work with engineering teams to report system related issues and assist with gathering data for further troubleshooting.

Job Requirements:

The position of Provisioning Supervisor requires an experienced individual with excellent technical skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a proven ability to generate and evaluate effective metrics on workload and process. The team member must be able to work under tight deadlines, and have strong problem-solving abilities with a service-oriented focus. The candidate will be required to successfully perform the following functions:

- Lead a team of 3-4 dedicated engineers, coordinating scheduling and ensuring appropriate work distribution.

- Provide support for internally developed applications used in the provisioning and order management systems.

- Technical support and general troubleshooting of Unix and WebLogic.

- Handle personally identifiable information (PII) and customer proprietary network information (CPNI) with good judgment and discretion.

- Communicate effectively with management and with team.

- Function across multiple internal groups and departments.

- Business continuity planning.

- Create and update team documentation as needed.



Required:


- 24 x 7 x 365 availability to support production environments (including oncall support).

- Background in Unix administration.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong collaboration skills.

- Familiarity with system monitoring, and day-to-day operations.

- Experience with Splunk for data analysis and reporting.

- Experience with Remedy or other ticketing systems.

- Experience with systems and services designed to support multi-million customers is highly desired.

- Experience dealing with complex workflows with both technical and business logic constraints.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with Solaris 10 and RedHat 6.

-Familiarity with Oracle databases and SQL.

-Familiarity with WebLogic 8.1 and/or 11 G.

-Experience with Ericsson Order Care.

-Familiarity with VOIP and/or cable provisioning.

-Experience dealing with complex workflows with both technical and business logic constraints.

-Experience troubleshooting perl, php, and shell scripts.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
