Jet's Pizza General Manager & Assistant Managers Needed

 Jet's Pizza General Manager

Jet's Pizza, voted Nashville's best pizza for 6 years running, is looking for General Managers for several metro Nashville Jet's Pizza locations.  The GM is the leader of the business and is fully responsible for all operational functions of a Jet's Pizza restaurant.  The GM's primary goals are to deliver a high quality product with exemplary customer service while maximizing restaurant profitability. This is accomplished by being a self-sufficient leader, making quality decisions, and instilling pride and accountability in team members.   The GM should be a hands-on worker, trainer, mentor and coach.  The GM reports to Regional Manager, Business Manager and franchise owner.

  • Monitor the local business environment and become the face of Jet's Pizza through community involvement and membership in the local Chamber of Commerce
  • Manage charitable donations and offsite events 

Operations:

  • Individually maintain operational efficacy in every job function in the restaurant
  • Track inventory and other financial metrics to ensure restaurant is exceeding financial objectives
  • Manage vendors in order to keep costs low and quality high
  • Develop a high level of competency operating and maintaining the POS system
  • Maintain health score above 95 and ensure restaurant cleanliness while following sound sanitation procedures at all times
  • Ensure that all restaurant equipment is properly maintained
  • Maintain strong security procedures including alarm system, access control system, security cameras, keys, etc. 

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Serv-Safe Food Service Certification preferred
  • Stable employment history with at least two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience with demonstrated salary progression
  • Cash management and basic accounting skills including invoice reconciliation, debit and credit review and financial statement analysis
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Posses a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work long hours (scheduled or unscheduled) which will include nights, weekends and as emergencies arise
  • Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a background check

 

Jet's Pizza Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager shall work under the GM assisting with some or all of the GM's responsibilities as listed in the above GM job description.  The primary goal of the AM is to acquire the necessary skills to be able to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the GM role.  At the onset of the AM's tenure, the AM should be able to: 

  • Act as GM when the GM is not present
  • Open and close the store
  • Assist with marketing
  • Must be able to do every job in the restaurant (with the exception of the GM's job) 

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Serv-Safe Food Service Certification preferred
  • Stable employment history
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
