Our Global Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for developing diverse sourcing strategies to identify and attract the most competitive talent both internally and externally to ensure Pitney Bowe's continued success.

This role will have responsibility in identifying and attracting "Executive" level talent to critical areas (Sales, Software, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, etc.) and supporting corporate wide initiatives for Diversity hiring. This role will provide Executive talent pipelines through research to support anticipated current talent requirements to ensure that Pitney Bowes is attracting top talent and employing effective sourcing measures. Individual will build strong relationships with potential high-quality candidates to ensure a viable talent pipeline. Executive researcher will work with executive recruiter(s) and hiring managers to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that creates more effective search process. This role will provide strategic advice and education to executive recruiters and Hiring Managers based on market intelligence, best practices and changing business needs with talent implications.

ROLE:

Business Strategy:
  • Identify how changes in business strategy impact talent planning needs


Relationship Management:
  • Ensure recruiting prioritizes pipeline requirements based on business need


Outside in Thinking:
  • Educate Talent Acquisition on trends in the labor market
  • Use competitive analysis to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors
  • Understand the availability of talent across critical talent segments


Sourcing/Pipelining:
  • Know the best sourcing channels and messages to reach different candidate segments
  • Proactively cold call passive candidates
  • Identify the top-performing employees at talent competitors


Business Acumen:
  • Have a deep understanding of strategic business priorities and how the organization makes money
  • Communicate in the "language" of the business
  • Make recommendations based on how positions create value to the business


Analytical Rigor:
  • Meet quarterly goals for diverse candidate slates, candidate pipelines, and required applicant tracking updates

Qualification
  • 5+ years' previous experience in direct sourcing recruiting supporting executive level hiring. Retained agency or international recruitment experience is an asset.
  • Extensive experience in direct sourcing, name generation, executive research, candidate assessment, as well as recruiting principles, theories and concepts.
  • Proven experience using a CRM tool. Previous direct sourcing knowledge and use of tools in addition to LinkedIn is required. AIRS certification is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking and staffing systems is required, Taleo preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing consultation to internal clients, success in identifying, qualifying and placing applicants in Sales, Software and Technology positions.
  • Must be ethical, have high integrity, and be passionate about attracting top talent.

  • A self-starter who can act as a strong individual contributor, operating effectively in a matrixed organization.
