Production Worker Job Description

• As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for pork processing and harvesting within the different areas and aspects of plant production along with other various production related tasks.
• As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for pork processing and harvesting within extreme Hot (90 F or higher) and Cold (28 F or below) conditions for long periods of time.

 

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• This position will require standing on your feet, performing repetitive work with your hands, and/or constantly lifting 35+ lbs while working with and around hog blood, carcasses, and also strong odors
• This position also requires the need to take instructions quickly and frequently along with always following all safely polices and guidelines
• Ability to speak, to write, and to read the English language. Spanish a plus
• Production working experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn quickly
• Positive attitude towards working and other co-workers
• Must have reliable transportation

 

Pay Rate:  $10.25/hr

Shifts/Hours:  1st Shift
