Wheels Convenience Stores is looking for Store Managers for our Fairfield County locations!

As a member of the management team, you should have a strong background in retail sales, merchandising and management skills and enthusiasm about the job. If you are skilled at providing exceptional customer service and can direct a staff to do the same, we would love to talk to you.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Quality Customer Service - Ensuring that all customers are handled courteously and efficiently to promote sales and good customer relations. Provide prompt and courteous customer service while ensuring safe conditions at the facility. Train all personnel in this area.

Employee Relations - Maintain positive employee relations and morale by ensuring that Company Policy and Procedures are being followed and maintained in the facility. Supervising and managing store employees, including recruitment, selection, training, scheduling, assigning duties and reviewing performance.

Financial Management - Provide effective management of expenses, profits and losses to ensure the financial stability of the operation. Making all bank deposits, completing all required paperwork, reviewing and analyzing reports.

Marketing - Maximizing sales and profit by insuring all division merchandise programs are implemented, including maintenance of proper stock levels, layouts and displays in accordance with policy, proper pricing and coding, proper rotation, etc.

Loss Prevention - Implement and manage security and prevention measures as provided by the Company. Controlling merchandise shortage and other selling expense.

Safety and Maintenance - Ensure that safe conditions are maintained at the facility at all times. Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and keeping all areas of the store neat, clean and organized.

Job Requirements

Skills & Abilities Required:
* Management experience in retail environment; at least 5 years
* Ability to proactively recruit, hire and retain staff
* Excellent communication skills
* Computer skills & knowledge of Accounting procedures
* Superior customer service
* Excellent organizational & problem solving skills
* Valid drivers license
* Reliable transportation
