Accounting Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

JOB TITLE: Accountant

LOCATION: Santa Clara County

SALARY: $14 - $15 Hourly

PART TIME

A company in the San Jose is looking for a motivated accounting clerk.

Job Description:

- Assist the accounts payable department in processing invoices and check requests for payment

- Ensure payment requests have proper authorizations and are compliant with current company policies and procedures. Monitor accurate and timely payment of vendors

- Assist cash receipt department for deposits and posting to appropriate invoices and accounts

- Assist with processing of fees and miscellaneous credit card charges

- Reconciliation of Bank Accounts

- Allocation of expenses to various cost centers

- Amortization of prepaid expenses and covenants

- Processes daily checks for Visa/Passport

- Performing various office functions such as answering telephone inquiries

- Perform other office functions as necessary and applicable (ex: photocopying, scanning, retrieving files and other relevant documentation).



Job Requirements:

- Willingness to learn

- Knowledge of debits, credits and payables

- Intermediate Excel skills

- Degree preferred
