About this job

The first responsibility of a Porter Dishwasher is to maintain food safety standards by properly cleaning, transporting and storing all dishes, cookware, utensils, etc., used in the preparation of food at Market District locations.

  • Clean, transport and store all dishes, cookware, utensils, etc., used in the food and beverage operation.
  • Maintain all utensils in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Clean and sanitize all china, silverware, flatware, pots and pans utilized in the day-to-day operation of the Prepared Food Departments.
  • Ensure that all of the areas of Prepared Foods, Beverage Bar, Hot Bar, Cold Bar, Pizza/Pasta, etc., have the proper amount of food preparation items in order to effectively service customers.
  • Perform regular cleaning/maintenance on all food preparation areas including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, tables and floors.
  • Responsible for controlling some expense within a department.
