THRIVE Intelligence, a Universal Services of America company, is looking for a Project Manager- Security Systems.

The Project Manager position will estimate, plan, schedule, monitor, evaluate, document and direct projects to ensure a complete business solution is implemented. As the Project Manager you must be a very dedicated professional responsible for fulfilling these dutires as well as exceeding goals for customer satisfaction. The Project Manager must be able to manage multiple projects while being innovative and creative in challenging situations. Additional responsiblities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Prepares for and manages security camera systems (IP and Analog), alarm systems, access control, and other security systems technology installations by reviewing installation orders; coordinating schedules with customers and subcontractors.
  • Acts as on-site leader and program director for Technology execution teams, subcontractors, and vendors assigned Technology Contracting projects.
  • Develops project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects.
  • Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issues bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes.
  • Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Performs associated cost estimates, prepares proposals, negotiates final settlement proce and customer acceptance.
  • Negotiates, prepares and issues subcontracts.
  • Manages risks and establishes project recovery plans when required.
Position Requirements

Applicants for the Project Manager- Security Systems position will meet the minimum requirements as listed below:
  • High school degree or equivalent. College degree or related college courses preferred.
  • 3+ years related experience in building construction and/or security systems integration industry; or a BICSI RCDD with broad project management experience in Telecommunications, Power Distribution and Low Voltage Systems.
  • Previous experience in structured cabeling preferred as well as experience with some or all of the following systems: PBX, Paging Systems, AV, Patient Entertainment, EMS Radio Systems, Time Clock, Wireless Clocks, Nurse call, Security (Access Control, Intrusion detection), Video Surviellance Systems, EMR, System Integration Knowledge.
  • Ability to travel based on project assignment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and outstanding verbal and written communication skills required and ability to communicate techincal material to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to professional interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
