The Sr. QA Analyst will work in a team environment to help test MHC's products. This person will have continuous involvement and participation with the development team to design, build and test software products and underlying components. Review, verify and validate requirements, designs and functionality of software. Develops, executes and maintains test plans and test cases. Creates automated test scripts and contributes to the automation library. Identifies and creates stress, load and performance test suites. The Sr. QA Analyst may work on multiple projects at a time.



 


 


 



Primary Responsibilities:


 



  • Gathers, analyzes and designs, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management

  • Maintains system test environment by working with the Network Engineering group to manage hardware as well as perform software upgrades and populating test data

  • Assist in planning, preparing and executing system and regression testing of application and systems software releases

  • Develop, execute and maintain test plans from requirement/design documentation for the product releases

  • Design, develop and maintain/enhance the QA automation software

  • Design, implementation and documentation of test cases and addition of these test cases to the automated test suites, administer and maintain defect training tool and conduct UAT sessions

  • Track and report on test status

  • Defect prevention through early involvement with project teams

  • Identify and execute the manual test coverage

  • Act as test coordinator and lead for selected projects

  • Ensure compliance with Q/A policies, procedures and standards

  • Executed test plans with very high attention to detail, including investigation into the source of an issue

  • Read, understand and analyze flowcharts

  • May require overtime or off-peak hours required to meet commitments

  • Regular and consistent attendance

Requirements

Required Qualifications:




  • 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries 

  • 5+ years of solid QA experience

  • 5+ years of data validation experience

  • 5 years of experience Windows client/server and web based applications

  • Healthcare experience

  • Knowledge of business workflow modeling techniques and systems development lifecycle methodology

  • A Bachelors in degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training

  • Strong experience with QA processes and methodologies - automated and manual test processes, test cases design, scripting, execution, automated test tools, regression testing

  • Experience in implementing an automated test environment

  • Well developed communication skills oral, written and listening

  • Good analytical, negotiation skills, and close attention to detail

  • Communicates clearly and effectively

  • Excellent time management and project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate and organize

  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and motivational skills

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

  • Must be willing and able to work in the Irvine, CA office 

 


 



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Stress, load and performance test tool(s) experience

  • Development experience with C#.net, ASP.net
