About this job
The Traffic Counter will be responsible for counting traffic, including pedestrians, bicycles etc from a prerecorded video. The candidate will control the speed of the video with one hand and enter the data with their other hand on the QC customized control panel. This requires strong attention to detail, good hand/eye coordination and the ability to count.
Traffic counters will be responsible for traffic data collections. Most studies are for traffic light efficiency.
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Ability to count
- Strong hand/eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Ability to sit in front of a computer for extended periods of time
- Will need to pass an onsite preliminary screening
Very casual work environment. Flexible Schedule is a must! Shifts will be Mon-Fri (occassional Saturday) from 7AM-1PM OR 1PM-9PM. Speed and accuracy are very important.
