The Outreach Supervisor develops, plans and implements outreach and marketing strategies in synch with program standards and goals. The goals of successful outreach are to (1) increase program presence and awareness in select business customer segments targeted to achieve program participation outcomes; (2) build and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders, as well as current and prospective service recipients; and (3) increase program participation and lead efforts to augment customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure that successful outreach and program marketing is achieved in accordance with client key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Ensure that program interest leads are secured through successful outreach efforts.
3. Supervise the work of Community Outreach Advocates in 5 target communities within Chicago.
4. Develop outreach strategies to support program performance goals through the coordination of strategic program promotions and outreach activities.
5. Track outreach metrics to ensure outreach strategies remain consistent with overall program goals and objectives.
6. Advise internal teams and Program Manager on any relevant program concerns and recommend changes to current procedures.
7. Work closely with Marketing support staff to lead communication messaging to set proper expectation and increase overall customer satisfaction for overall program.
8. Participate in and conduct ongoing training of outreach staff.
9. Establish community support channels to further increase awareness and engagement with business and community stakeholders.
10. Support community events and oversee outreach staff.
11. Interface with management and other departments to plan & meet company benchmarks.
12. Drafts and delivers daily and weekly client reports and communications as needed.
13. Performs related work as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelors' degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related area, or equivalent education and work experience.
2. Proven successful track record in motivated marketing and outreach efforts.
3. Ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks, from program planning to client meetings.
4. Ability to anticipate challenges, plan for solutions, and work within existing structures to overcome barriers.
5. Ability to work in cross-functional and matrix-managed teams.
6. Possess an innovative and open-minded approach to all aspects of work.
7. Solid project management skills.
8. Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
9. Excellent written, verbal communication skills.
10. Solid knowledge of Chicago communities and logistics
11. Driver's license in good standing with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 24 months.
12. Ability to pass felony background check and drug screen.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. 3 years marketing/outreach/communications or related business experience.
2. Supervisory experience.
3. Community outreach experience
4. Sales experience
5. Knowledge in energy efficiency
