Mortgage Banker Assistant - East - Full-time

Discover Home Loans is looking for an outgoing, hard-working Mortgage Banker Assistant to join the team in our Louisville office!

The Mortgage Banker Assistant will partner with one of our top performing loan officers to deliver increased sales originations, achieve elevated results and deliver outstanding customer service to our borrowers. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Perform a high volume of outbound calls to initiate customer contact on leads
• Introduce customers to Discover Home Loans and our services before transferring the warm call
• Provide follow up calls on customers already in the loan process
• Collect and process documents to create new loan files

Qualifications

Experience / Training / Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a sales capacity
• Previous mortgage experience preferred
• 2+ years experience in a customer-service and/or administrative position

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Strong organizational abilities with careful attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent phone etiquette and an established comfort making a high volume of outbound calls
• Outstanding customer service skills
