We are seeking an IT Database Analyst to join our team. Use your operational analytical skills to
design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports. As a Data Warehouse (Big
Data) / BI - Developer / Hands-on Architect you must be at an architect-level
for designing and developing SQL Packages, Access Methods, and Advanced T-SQL
Coding. Using your skills, you will resolve Data Integrity and Access Issues
within SQL Server 2008 R2 Database and will focus on optimizing the database
for data access efficiency and accuracy as well as building advanced ETL and
Analysis Services solutions. This will be a hands-on position and a lead role
in multiple high-visibility projects.

Make solid recommendations based on the analysis
and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and
our customers. You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with
some very interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must
maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent
oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the
ability to always meet deadlines.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS
in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or High
School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of equivalent experience - 5+
years of SQL/TSQL development - 3+
years of ETL construction and experience with advanced job scheduling. - 3+
years of experience performing significant data analysis with report
development, data warehousing construction and design (Star/Snowflake) - 3+
years recent experience in a customer facing role leading and managing
projects. - 3+
years previous experience with SSIS and SSRS - Expert
level of programming knowledge (reporting code) and of relational
databases, database structures and design, systems design and data
management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dashboard Construction
& Concepts (Tableau) experience - SQL Analysis Services (2008+) experience
- Data Modeling (Star-Snowflake) experience
- Windows Server 2008/2012 experience
- Knowledge with other database systems (Oracle/DB2/Hadoop)
