This high visibility role on the Discover it® new product and innovation team will be responsible for developing and managing new quarterly innovations such as Free FICO® Credit Score, Discover it® chrome, and Security initiatives. The candidate will work with the team to identify new relevant features, conducting consumer research, completing cost benefit analyses, managing the products BT requirements for product enhancements and measuring the products performance results.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently across multiple business units (Risk, Finance, Analytics, BT, Legal, Processing Services, and Acquisition) and managing many projects simultaneously. They will be required to have excellent organizational, problem solving and project management skills and the ability to identify risks and opportunities for efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Identify key product and feature/experience enhancements required for Discover it® based on results, cardmember feedback, operational review, to develop and manage an ongoing product innovation calendar.

• Business lead working with technology to implement product features and experiences. Includes working with business partners to identify Business Technology requirements for product rollout and future feature enhancements.

• Act as central point of contact across all impacted business units and lead meetings with representation from Business Technology, legal, marketing, etc. Ensure project milestones are met in order to hit deadlines critical for project launch.

• Oversight of project implementation prior to launch. Creation of test plan and specific test cases, identification of test group along with implementation plan. Ability to manage and report on defects, as needed, and anticipate possible risks.

• Ensure successful operational implementation and error free projects.

• Create ongoing reporting to track success in account booking and post-booking results.

Qualifications

Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree with focus on Business, and/or Marketing
• Solid understanding of Marketing Systems (Orion, IAS, and FOCUS), especially Acquisitions, and Campaign Management
• Strong attention to detail, and active listening skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to interact with leadership, collaborate across multifunctional areas, and perform under pressure
• Ability to develop a project management plan and execute to launch successfully
